J. Randall Sanford, P.E.
President and General Manager

Randy has served at Al Hill Boiler utilizing his 20+ years in the industry. He is responsible for all aspects of the company business: service and repair, sales, safety and compliance, and administration. With a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alabama, he has also completed graduate work in Engineering and Business Management at Louisiana State University. He is a Registered Professional Engineer and has placed Al Hill Boiler at the top of the industry, leveraging his decades of experience in all phases of boiler projects.

Sandy Merritt
Vice President and Office Manager

Sandy has been the supporting back bone of Al Hill Boiler for more than 15 years. She is the friendly voice you will hear when you call our office and is responsible for the management of all accounts receivables. She keeps all of our payroll and employee benefits running smoothly. She also assist in the development of marketing and sales strategies to address our valued customers forever changing needs.

Jon Reid
Quality Control and Inside Sales

Jon began as a mechanic for the Al Hill team in 2010 after earning his degree in Business Management from Troy University. After 7 years of dedicated work, he was promoted to Quality Control Manager. Jon’s priorities range from inside sales to coordinating the scheduling for all our jobs. His keen eye and knowledge for quality welding repairs as well as diligent communication with customers, have made Al Hill excel as one of the top boiler companies along the Gulf Coast.

Drew Nelson
Outside Sales Representative

Drew started as a mechanic with Al Hill Boiler in 2010 and quickly transitioned to a technician. In 2017, Drew became the company’s outside sales representative covering Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida, Alabama and Georgia. He is dedicated to bringing the best service to our clients on a daily basis. His responsibilities include assessing jobs, providing timely quotes, and ensuring that customer experiences are satisfactory from start to finish.
